Mount View 43 at Maine Central Institute 6

At Pittsfield, Jay Babin and Ryan St. Clair each accounted for two touchdowns as the Mustangs handled the Huskies.

St. Clair scored from six yards out in the first quarter, before Babin had a 1-yard TD run. Babin also threw conversion passes to Taylor Reynolds and Tyler McCormick.

Maine Central Institute (2-4) got on the board on Trey Vintinner’s 8-yard TD run in the second quarter, but Mount View of Thorndike (4-2) answered with a 35-yard scoring scamper. Reynolds added the PAT to make it 23-6 at halftime.

St. Clair peeled off a 41-yard TD jaunt in the third quarter, then Jake Blanchette returned a Ben Kormann blocked punt eight yards for a score.

A sack by Mike Robinson and Craig Nealley in the end zone resulted in a safety, then Neally scored on a 10-yard run to cap the scoring.
