Mount View Boys Soccer 0 at Belfast 3

At Belfast, Tyler Baker recorded three goals, one in the first half and two in the second, to propel the No. 8 Belfast Lions to an Eastern Maine Class B prelim win over the No. 9 Mount View Mustangs.

Baker’s first goal occurred with 31 seconds left in the first half, on an assist from Yanni Rakis off a second chance following a corner kick. Baker added unassisted goals at 23:29 and 4:53 in the second half.

Sam Kulikowski made 8 saves on 22 shots for 9-4-2 Belfast and Mikey Hustus finished with 10 saves on 18 shots for 9-5-1 Mount View of Thorndike. Mount View held a 9-6 edge in corner kicks.
