At Pittsfield, Holden Kimball ran for 110 yards and two touchdowns and A.J. MacEachern scored rushed for one touchdown and scored a second on a 46-yard interception return as Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln raced out to a 28-6 lead and never looked back.

MCI led 6-0 after the first play from scrimmage as John Santiago raced 71 yards for the score.

But on MA’s first play from scrimmage, Kimball responded with a 75-yard TD run and then added the two-point conversion run to give the Lynx an 8-6 lead.

From that point on Mattanawcook forced seven MCI turnovers in the game, including four in the second quarter alone, to leave the Lynx with short fields for much of the contest.

Santiago lead MCI with 147 yards rushing on 18 carries.
