Maine Central Institute Football 47 at Washington Academy 7

At East Machias, Jonathan Santiago set the tone in the first quarter by scoring three touchdowns of 3, 37 and 20 yards to help Maine Central Institute remain undefeated.

Santiago had 154 total yards and scored five touchdowns for the game. Alex Bertrand chipped in a 5 yard run for a touchdown for the Huskies.

Washington Academy’s Colin Pineo ran for a 50 yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Maine Central Institute improves to 6-0 and Washington Academy is now 1-5.
