HAMPDEN, Maine — Scott Sawtelle poured in a game-high 27 points on Thursday, sparking Madison to a 58-53 victory over Hampden-Bangor in the North final of the Maine Principals’ Association unified basketball tournament.
Roger Picard scored 12 points and Cameron Ellis added seven for Madison, which advances to the state championship game against South winner Westbrook, a 77-68 winner over Morse of Bath on Thursday.
Jaron Baude tossed in 22 points to pace Hampden-Bangor. Dana Faloon scored 14 points and Trevor Reed contributed nine points.
