The Hornets got on the board in the first inning as Andre Eason Jr. knocked in a run with an RBI double.  Thomas responded in the bottom half of the inning as a ground out from Alex Curtis (Monmouth, Maine) plated Darren Kelly (Foxboro, Mass.) that tied the game up at 1-1.

Lyndon took a 3-1 lead in the next inning as a double to left center from Devon Rollins brought in Zak Johnson and Jake Perkins.

The Hornets offense continued to score as they added two more runs in the fifth and sixth inning led by Eason, Perkins, and Johnson.

The Terriers looked to rally in the bottom of the sixth as they loaded the bases.  Curtis followed with a grand slam to deep left field to cut the lead down to 7-5.

Lyndon closer Andrew Whalen silenced Thomas in the seventh inning to pick up the save and a 7-5 victory.  James Mundy earned the win on the mound for the Hornets, throwing five innings and allowing five runs.

Cody Cousins (Wells, Maine) was given the loss for Thomas with four innings pitched and five runs (four earned) allowed.
