Katahdin Softball 2 at Schenck 3

At East Millinocket, Olivia Lewis had a double and single, scored a run and knocked in a run to help lead Schenck past Katahdin of Stacyville 3-2 in the first game of a doubleheader.
The teams played to a 10-10, seven-inning tie in the second game.
Abi Austin pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven for Schenck (2-4-1).
Katahdin (3-3-1) was led by Georgia Landry who had 2 hits and scored a run.
In the second game, Schenck scored in the bottom of the seventh on a bases-loaded walk to tie the game. Katahdin got out of the jam and then the game was called due to darkness.
Schenck was led by Olivia Lewis, who had 3 hits and scored 3 runs. Morgan Thompson had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the Wolverines.
Katahdin was led by Landry’s 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Lizz Knowles added a hit and an RBI.
