At Howland, Kayla Dube pitched a five-inning one-hitter with 13 strikeouts to lead the Howlers to victory.
Molly McGinn paced the Penobscot Valley offense with two doubles, a single and an RBI. Shaelyn Jones had two doubles, Reese Leonard smacked two singles with two RBIs and Brittany Pike added two singles.
For Katahdin of Stacyville, Makcayla Patterson notched a single.
