John Bapst Girls Soccer 1 at Old Town 3

At Old Town, Brittany Cousins scored two first half goals for the Coyotes en route to a Homecoming victory over John Bapst.

Cousins first goal came with only 1:13 into the game as she volleyed home a hard cross from Emily Hussey.

Michaela Milton one timed Caitlin King’s long free kick into path of Cousins, who touched the ball into the back of the net giving Old Town a 2-0 half time lead. Lauren Martin closed out the scoring, heading home the ball off a Milton assist.

John Bapst (3-3) cut the lead to 2-1 with 31:41 remaining in the game as Jessica Krueger knocked in Jane Branch’s corner kick.

Anna Zmistowski recorded 7 saves on 10 shots for the Crusaders. Nicole Robichaud finished with 8 saves on 9 shots for the Coyotes (2-4).
