John Bapst Baseball 0 at Foxcroft 4

At Dover-Foxcroft, Ryan Rebar pitched a complete-game shutout, striking out seven while holding the Crusaders to four hits and one walk.

Foxcroft scored four runs on three hits and three John Bapst errors. Rebar doubled with one out in the first, moved to third on an infield single by Hunter Law, and scored on a Cameron Fadley sacrifice fly to give the Ponies a 1-0 lead.

Rebar added a sacrifice fly in the fifth. Jesse Provost had the Ponies’ only other hit, an RBI single in the sixth.

Cody Lyons had two singles for the Crusaders, and Shawn Curran and Tom Burns added a single each.

John  Bapst’s Nolan Webber yielded two hits and two earned runs in five innings of work, striking out one, and Jon Deschaine gave up a hit and a run in the sixth.
