At the Johnson Athletic Complex in Presque Isle, No. 3 Hermon won a hard fought battle over No. 2 Presque Isle in an East Class B semifinal.

Hermon scored two late goals in the first half when Alex Allain found the back of the net twice, sliding the ball past a diving Jillian Flynn.

The Wildcats cut the lead to one when Krystal Kingsbury roped a direct kick in the corner of the net with 20 minutes left in the game.

Hermon fought off a furious comeback from the Wildcats and sealed the game when Allain scored her third goal of the game. Jillian Fylnn made 23 saves on 26 shots for the Wildcats. Hailey Perry made 10 saves on 11 shots.
Hermon (15-1) moves on to play Waterville for the EM championship. PI finishes at 12-3-1.
