Hermon Softball 8 at Caribou 1

At Caribou, Hermon broke the game open the second game of a doubleheader in the the seventh inning to cruise to the win.

Hermon pitcher Allessa Oakes and Caribou’s Amber Bonewicz hooked up in a quality pitchers dual with both hitting their marks early on.
Oakes also was great at the plate with three hits. The big blow of the game came off the bat of Kylie Kennedy with a two-run homer in the four-run seventhinning. Kristin Wilcox also had a triple for Hermon.
Leading Caribou offensively was Bonewicz and Jordyn Doucette who were both 2-for-3 with Bonewicz collecting a double and a single, and Doucette with two singles. Kelsie Espling also had an RBI double.
