WATERVILLE, Maine — The Colby College men’s soccer team trailed 1-0 at halftime and Hamilton College put the game away with three goals in the final 45 minutes in a 4-0 NESCAC win Saturday.

The Mules drop to 4-8-2 overall and 1-6-2 in the league heading into the final game of the season Wednesday at Bates College in an 8 p.m. start.
Colby seniors Brandon Fahlberg and Jack McGeachie were playing their final home game.
Matt Casadei scored 7:42 into the contest when he headed in a free kick by Quinn O’Malley.
Casadei scored his second of the game just 6:33 into the second half to give the Continentals a 2-0 lead. Mike Lubelczyk had the assist on the score.
Hamilton scored twice in the final 12:41 of the contest. Jefri Schmidt had his fourth goal of the year from Rowan Myers at 77:19. Jeffrey Plump added his first of the season with 3:41 to play.
Mule goalkeeper Avery Gibson stopped seven shots, while Linds Cadwell earned the shutout with four saves.
