BRUNSWICK, Maine – Cat Gambino scored with nine minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Hamilton women’s soccer team to a 1-0 conference victory over host Bowdoin on Saturday afternoon.
The Continentals improve to 7-4-2 (3-4-2 NESCAC) while dropping the Polar Bears to 7-4-1 (2-4-1 NESCAC).
Katie Kreider challenged Bowdoin’s Rachel Stout in the 62nd minute with a promising look from just inside the box. A strong play by Stout turned the shot aside and kept the teams knotted at nil.

Hamilton broke the stalemate at 70:59. Darby Philbrick fed Gambino who slotted a shot to the far right corner for the 1-0 lead.
