At Brunswick, the Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse Eagles gave up multiple leads Wednesday night when they hosted the Gorham Rams at Watson Arena, but their top line continued to produce right to the bitter end when Noah Austin broke a tie on a breakaway goal with 37 seconds left to push the Eagles to a 7-6 victory.
Austin led the way for the Eagles (3-3) with 3 goals and 2 assists, who also got a hat trick and an assist from linemate Tyler LaCascio. Mark Abreu and Ryley Austin both had 3 assists, while Tyler Halls chipped in with a goal and an assist. Parker Lacey earned the victory, making 17 saves on 23 shots.
Carter Landry led the Rams (3-3) with 2 goals and 2 assists, while Adam Peterson scored twice and Lucas Roop added a goal and an assist in the losing effort. Noah Bird made 33 saves on 40 shots.
