George Stevens Girls Soccer 3 at Sumner 2

At East Sullivan, George Stevens Academy and Sumner battled into overtime as Cecile Page scored to notch the win for the Eagles.

Savanah Turner opened the game with an unassisted goal five minutes into the first-half for the Tigers but Alyssa Chesney of George Stevens Academy tied the game three minutes later.

Charolette Retter scored an unassisted goal but Turner scored once again on a direct kick to tie the game before going into overtime.

Page scored three minutes into the overtime for the win.

Jordan Merchant had 10 saves on 11 shots for Sumner while Megan Nolan had 10 saves on 15 shots for George Stevens Academy.
