At Thomaston, Makenna Brooks scored at hat trick in the second half to lead fourth-ranked Oceanside by No. 13 Gardiner in an Eastern Maine Class B prelim.

Emily Gould also tallied a second-half goal for 11-3-1 Oceanside while Makenna Brooks, Jillian Brooks and Paige Tyler each added assists.

Oceanside outshot Gerdiner 20-2.

Ally Day and Lauren Chadwick split time in the net for 3-10-2 Gardiner and they combined for 16 saves, while Kaylyn Grover had two saves for Oceanside.
