At Dover-Foxcroft, Nick Decker struck out eight hitters over five innings to lead Foxcroft Academy to a season-opening 11-3 win over Dexter.

Decker yielded four hits, one walk, and two earned runs before turning the ball over to Talon Strout and Nate Church, who combined for two hitless innings of relief.

Brandon Young struck out five in three innings of work for the Tigers, and Nathan Robichaud limited the Ponies to three earned runs over the final three frames.

Strout delivered a bases-clearing double in the third and finished 3-for-3 with 4 RBI in his varsity debut. Abe Simpson (3-4 with 2 runs), Dylan Huff (2-2 with 2 RBI), Chandler Rockwell (1-3 with 2 SB and 2 runs), and Hunter Law (triple, 2 runs) were key contributors to the 12-hit Pony attack.

Robichaud crushed a home run to left-center to get the Tigers on the board in the top of the fifth. Josh Smith (double, RBI), Daytona Gould (double), and Adam Wintle also had hits for Dexter.
