At Fort Fairfield on Friday night, the Tigers scored three goals in each half behind three goals by Kayla Tisdale and a goal and three assists by Kailanny Hernandez to record the win.

Gracie Griffith started the scoring first and was followed up by two Tisdale goals, both assisted by Hernandez.

Fort Fairfield scored in the first five minutes of the second half to extend its lead to 4-0 after Tisdale scored her third goal, again assisted by Hernandez. Emma Campbell scored to extend the lead with about 20 minutes left and Hernandez added the sixth goal when she scored with a second remaining.

Fort Fairfield goalkeeper Emily Everett finished with 3 saves on 4 shots while delivering a shutout. Van Buren ‘keepers Leah Gendreau and Bailey Laplante combined for 17 saves on 23 shots.
