Fort Fairfield Softball 10 at Ashland

At Ashland, Laura Sturgeon stroked a three-run triple, then scored on a wild pitch to spearhead a four-run seventh inning that lifted the No. 4 Hornets past the NO. 5 Tigers and into the Class D semifinals.
Sturgeon added a double for 13-5 Ashland and Allyx Beaulier collected four singles and three RBIs. Caitlin Paradis stroked a double and two singles with two RBIs to support winning pitcher Marissa Chasse.
Jordan Coiley paced Fort Fairfield (9-8) with a double, a triple and a single with two RBIs. Janae Libby provided a three-run triple and a single and Alyssa Dougherty singled three times for the Tigers.
