PRESQUE ISLE, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Women’s Soccer team (1-1) were shutout on Sunday afternoon.  The Fisher Falcons (3-1) would pour in goals late to walk away with a 7-0 victory.

It was a tightly contested game for much of the first half.  The Owls missed some key opportunities to score.  The Falcons would finally break through in the 37th minute when Grace Roach (FR, Hutchinson, MN) would find the back with a shot from left of goal.  Julia Schojan (SR, Rochester, NY), who led the NAIA last season in goals, got hot from that point, adding two quick goals to put the Owls down three at half.

Schojan and the Falcons were not done yet.  Schojan would end up with five goals in the afternoon while Delaney McNulty (JR, Los Angeles, CA) would net a goal, and the Falcons would cruise to the seven point win.
