At Orono, the Red Riots jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and never looked back.

Orono used a balanced offensive attack and a swarming defense to earn its second win of the season. Matt Fowler paced the Riots, as he rushed for two touchdowns, caught a 42-yard touchdown pass from Jackson Coutts and also had a pass interception.

Keenan Collett broke free on a 42 yard touchdown scamper on 5 carries. Jackson Coutts contributed an 11-yard touchdown run, completed 7 of 9 passes for 127 yards and also kicked four PATs. Josiah Grace broke free on a nifty 37-yard counter play for Orono to push the Riot lead to 50-6 at the half.

Ellsworth (0-2) scored in the first quarter on a one-yard fumble into the end zone which was recovered by Jacob Shorey and the Eagles found the end zone late in the fourth quarter on a six-yard run by Andrew Brown.
