At Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor, Dexter raced out to an eight-point first-quarter lead on their way to a season-opening victory over Bangor Christian.

Trevor Richards and Brett Kusnierz lead the Tigers with seven points each. Nathan Richards, Matt Richards and Matt Hanscome each contributed six points to aid the win.

Dean Grass led all scorers with 15 points for Bangor Christian.
