At Millinocket, Jordan Morrow carried the ball 15 times for 119 yards and added 13 tackles on defense as the Minutemen earned their second win.
Ryan Hibbs started the scoring for the Minutemen as he scampered into the end zone from 8 yards out in the first quarter. Mark Lyons converted the PAT rush for two on the only scoring drive in the first half.
Morrow started off the third quarter as he punched in a touchdown from two yards out. Stearns failed to convert the PAT.
Riley Whitney kicked off the fourth quarter with a 5-yard touchdown run for Stearns. Whitney converted the PAT rush for two points.
Michael Poulin connected with Trevor Fogarty to complete a 64-yard TD pass for Dexter. Dexter failed to convert the PAT. Poulin finished 4-of-7 passing for 123 yards and a touchdown for the 1-4 Tigers.
The Stearns defense buckled down as it allowed three first downs. Jude Tapley, Justin Santerre, Connor Stevens and Tommy Fiske each picked up two sacks for the 2-3 Minutemen.
