At Pittsfield, Adam Ogden, Trey Vintinner and Johnathan Santiago each ran for more than 100 yards and two touchdowns as the Huskies pulled away from the Tigers.
Ogden opened the scoring with a 55-yard punt return for a TD, then added two 5-yard runs in the second quarter. Ogden also converted two point-after kicks and rushed for a two-pointer.
Vintinner ran for two TDs — 2 yards and 17 yards in the third quarter, and Santiago barreled 84 yards in the third for his first TD and 16 yards in the fourth to close the scoring.
In addition for 4-4 Maine Central Institute, Jake McGowan had a 5-yard TD run of his own and Mitchell Hallee returned an interception 35 yards for a score, with Zack Noble kicking the PAT.
Andrew Levensalor scored both touchdowns for 1-7 Dexter. The first came in the second quarter on a 62-yard pass reception from Michael Poulin, who also passed to Dustin Sirabella for the two-point conversion and a brief 8-7 lead.
Levensalor’s second TD came on an 82-yard kick return with Poulin passing to Daytona Gould for the extra points.
