Dexter Football 29 at Maine Central Institute 43

At Pittsfield, Jonathan Santiago rushed for more than 300 yards and scored on touchdown runs of 46, 59 and 86 yards to propel Maine Central Institute by the Tigers.

The win in the regular-season finale gave MCI a 7-1 record and a tie for second place in Eastern Maine Class D with Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln. A coin flip on Saturday morning will determine the second-place team.

Greg Vigue also sparked the MCI offense as he connected on two touchdown passes to Austin Tolman. Eric Hathaway also scored a TD for the Huskies.

QB Trevor Fogarty sparked the Tigers offense as he opened the scoring with a TD pass to Daytona Gould. Fogarty also hit Matthew Bartlett for a TD pass and Fogarty also ran for two touchdowns. Dexter is now 3-5.
