Central Aroostook Boys Basketball 66 at Washburn 68

At Washburn, Central Aroostook pushed the hometown Beavers to the brink but fell short as Chandler Brewer’s foul line jumper went far right as he attempted to tie the game at the buzzer.
Washburn used balanced scoring to win with Alex Pelletier coming off the bench to score 13 points. Cameron Bragg also scored 13 points for Washburn, which improved to 11-3. Jarrett Olson added 10 points and Noah Farley chipped in 9.

The Panthers were led by Brewer’s game-high 29 points, including 12 for 13 from the foul line. Zach McClung added 13 points. Central Aroostook fell to 6-8.
