At Howland, Jaeden Folster doubled, singled and drove in a run to propel No. 1 Penobscot Valley to victory over No. 12 Central Aroostook in Class D semifinal action.
Dakota Batchelder and Thomas Spencer each added three singles and scored a run for the 16-1 Howlers.
For the 7-9 Panthers, Dustin Pryor had a double and scored a run while Nick Dominique chipped in a double.

The Howlers advanced to the Class D North championship game at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor. They will play the winner of Saturday’s semifinal between No. 3 Fort Fairfield (13-2) and No. 2 Hodgdon (14-2).
