Caribou Baseball 4 at Foxcroft 0

At Dover-Foxcroft, Matt Curry threw a five-hit shutout to lead Caribou past Foxcroft in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday. It was the first loss of the season for Foxcroft, now 11-1.

Curry struck out four batters while walking just one for the Vikings, now 7-5.

Curry and Mike Selander paced the Vikings’ attack with two hits apiece, and Matt Milliard had a hit and two runs scored.

Luke Olson had two of the Ponies’ five hits. Jesse Provost relinquished six hits, four walks, and four earned runs while striking out five hitters in five innings of work. Forrest Law worked two scoreless innings of relief.

Foxcroft won the first game 5-4.
