Camden Hills Baseball 4 at Oceanside 5

At Rockland, Ryan Allender pitched into the seventh inning and allowed four runs, one earned, on five hits while striking out seven to give Oceanside the season-opening win. Nick Mazurek struck out the only batter he faced for the save.
Oceanside was held to just one hit through four innings before getting three hits, including an RBI single from Travis Frye, a hit batsman and an error to score three runs. The Mariners added two runs in the sixth on Zach Peaco’s RBI single and Walker Ranney’s suicide squeeze bunt.
Connor Graffam struck out nine for the Windjammers while adding a single, double and two RBIs. Sam Berry added an RBI double for Camden Hills.
