Camden Hills Football 14 at Hampden 59

At Hampden on Friday night, Logan Steward rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries and caught a 38-yard touchdown pass as the Broncos earned their fifth consecutive victory.

Steward also had an interception for 5-1 Hampden, while teammate Roy Donnelly added a 75-yard interception return for a touchdown, a 61-yard scoring run and five extra-point kicks.

Simon Burditt had a 52-yard pass reception from quarterback Matt Martin for the Broncos, while Reed Pozzy, Jason Hoch, and Nicholas Hopper each had a touchdown run.

Camden Hills (1-5) played Hampden to a 6-6 stalemate through the first period, but the Broncos broke the game open with 19 unanswered points to take a 25-6 halftime lead.

Burditt, Nick Jesioloski, Jeremy Kelsey, Joey Doyon and Brian Fickett anchored the Hampden defense, each with at least eight tackles.
