At Dover-Foxcroft, Ryan Rebar struck out nine batters and allowed just one hit over six shutout innings as fourth-seeded Foxcroft Academy defeated eighth-seeded Camden Hills in a Class B semifinal matchup.
Seven Foxcroft Academy starters had a hit, led by sophomore Hunter Law (single, double, RBI, stolen base). Cody Coiley stroked a two-run single in the first inning and Cameron Fadley added a run-scoring single in the inning for the 14-5 Ponies.
Connor Hart had the Windjammers’ lone hit off Rebar, and Chandler Crans added a single in the seventh off Forrest Law.
In the third, Law singled home Caleb Richard and Rebar scored from third on Law’s steal of second. Luke Olson completed the scoring by singling home Kaleb Smith in the fourth.
Elliot Grindle relieved starter Caleb MacFarland in the fourth and limited FA to one hit with three strikeouts over the final 2 2/3 innings.
