At Greenville, the Lakers edged the Bucks 2-1 with Matt DiAngelo getting the game-winner on a direct kick with one minute to go in regulation.
DiAngelo was tripped up on a breakaway and was given the kick from about 25 yards out and put a well-placed shot to the upper right corner.
The Bucks scored first when Jon Randolph broke clear of the defense and beat the Greenville goalie with a low shot about half way through the first half. Greenville responded five minutes later when Alex Chapman headed in a corner from Charlie Warmen.
Greenville goalie Howie Stone had 6 saves on 7 shots for the 9-3-1 Lakers and Buckfield goalie Calvin Downey made 10 of 12 saves for 6-7-1 Bucks.
