Feb. 03, 2012, at 12:30 p.m.

At Jackman, Evan Worster scored 24 points, including the 1,000th of his career, to lead Forest Hills to the East-West Conference victory.

Worster, a 6-foot-3 junior guard-forward who has been playing for the Tigers since his eighth-grade year, entered the contest needing 23 points to reach the milestone and did so with 55 seconds left in the fourth quarter on a backdoor layup.

Worster now needs 331 more points to break the school record of 1,331 points held by Antoine Morin.

Freshman Ryan Petrin added 15 points for 13-3 Forest Hills, while classmate Matt Turner added 12.

Austin Dooley scored 20 points to lead 6-10 Buckfield.
