At Sukee Arena in Winslow, Chase Cunningham scored three goals to lead Messalonskee of Oakland past Brewer in a rematch of last season’s Eastern Maine Class B championship game which was won by Messalonskee 5-2.
Kalib Bernatchez, Jared Cunningham, Nate Nadeau and Tyler Simpson had the other goals for 7-0 Messalonskee and Ben Weeks made 27 saves.
Spencer Valley had three goals for 5-2 Brewer. Gehrig White had a pair of goals and Andrew Fleishman had the other one. Patrick Spaulding made 22 stops.
