AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Bowdoin baseball team dropped a pair of games to Salve Regina on Tuesdayafternoon, allowing a seventh inning rally for a 4-3 loss in game one and a 9-0 shutout in game two.

The Polar Bears fall to 1-3 on the young season. The Seahawks climb to 5-1.

The Seahawks put five runs on the board in the first inning and added another four in the fifth to run away with a 9-0 game two shutout.

Lee, Evann Dumont-LaPointe, and Eric Mah were the only Polar Bears to record hits in game two.

Hunter Sleeper paced the Seahawks with five RBI off a pair of doubles.

Duncan Finigan opened the game for Bowdoin and pitched less than an inning, allowing two hits and five runs. Finigan recorded a strikeout and two walks.

Richard Arms took the mound for 3.2 innings and allowed four hits and as many runs while fanning a pair. Justin Schachter pitched the final 1.2 innings and posted one strikeout with no runs.
