ROCKPORT, Maine — Zach Pitcairn had three goals and an assist as the Camden Hills boys soccer team remained unbeaten Tuesday with a 10-0 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B victory over Belfast at Don Palmer Field.
The two-time defending Eastern Maine champions are now 4-0, having outscored those opponents buy a combined 30-1 after reaching double digits offensively for the second straight match.
Belfast is 0-3-1.
Pitcairn, who had two goals and an assist Saturday in Camden Hills’ 10-1 win at Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield, scored all three of his goals against Belfast in the first half in staking coach Ryan Hurley’s club to a 5-0 intermission lead.
The senior forward now has a team-leading eight goals in four matches.
Alex Blackwell and Josiah Simkho each added two goals for the Windjammers, while Grayson Szumillas, Nick Walker and Richard Vokey also scored in support of senior goalie Marshall Spear, who made four saves to help preserve Camden Hills’ third shutout so far this season.
Peter Vannorsdall and Jack Gallagher each contributed two assists for the ‘Jammers, while Field Leonard also had an assist.
Sam Kulikowski worked in goal for Belfast.
