Bangor Softball 20 at Mount Ararat 9

Carly Cosgrove hit a grand slam in the top of the third inning and pitcher Cordelia Stewart allowed no runs over the final five innings to lead 8-5 Bangor to a 20-9 victory at 4-9 Mt. Ararat.

Sydni Cosgrove hit two and doubles and two singles while Alexis Stanhope drove home four rbi on two singles to pace the Bangor offense. Lilli Wiseman also recorded three hits.

Stewart replaced starting pitcher Emily Reilly in the third inning and allowed no runs on two hits while strikings out four and walking two.

Taylor Pare lead Mt. Ararat offensively with a double and one single. Starting pitcher Kim Leslie threw a complete game, allowing 20 runs on 20 hits while striking out none and walking six.
