At Oakland, Alexis Stanhope tossed a five-hitter and Carly Cosgrove drove in four runs with a double and two singles as Bangor knocked off previously undefeated Messalonskee and avenged its only loss.

Both teams are now 7-1.

Stanhope had three singles and Kristen Henigan, Anna Morris and June Candland each had a run-scoring double.

Kylie Knight had two singles for Messalonskee.
