Bangor Boys Hockey 1 at Lewiston 5

At the Colisee in Lewiston, Kyle Lemelin and Devon Beland scored a pair of goals apiece and Jake Bergeron scored the other as Lewiston extended its unbeaten streak to nine games (8-0-1) including two wins over the Rams.

Lewiston, which entered the game as the No. 2-ranked team in the Eastern Maine Class A Heal Points standings, is the only team that has beaten 10-2 Bangor, the top-ranked team.

Bangor had its five-game winning streak snapped.

Matt Therrien and Brandon Tiner had two assists apiece for 9-3-1 Lewiston and Patrick Deblois, Desmond Gagne and Matt Melanson had an assist apiece.  Brian Wigant picked up the win in goal.

Connor Griffin scored for Bangor off a Carl Farnham assist. Chris Howat was the goalie.
