Long to be a published writer? Well come to the Jesup Memorial Library on Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. for a moderated discussion of the benefits and drawbacks of self-publishing, with three writers who have been there, done that: Linda Robinson, Tina Rosenberg and Jim Parrish will talk about the writing life, and about self-publishing.

A 2012 report by Bowker, the company that manages ISBNs and bibliographic information for books published in the United States, shows that an increasing number of writers are going the self-publishing route.
