World Book Night Book Giveaway at Bar Harbor library

To help celebrate World Book Night, the Jesup Memorial Library will be handing out free paperback copies of “Moneyball: The Art of Winning An Unfair Game” by Michael Lewis, specially printed for World Book Night, on Tuesday, April 23 from 5 to 8 p.m.

World Book Night is an annual celebration dedicated to spreading the love of reading, person to person. In 2013, World Book Night will be celebrated in the U.S., the UK, and Ireland. World Book Night is about giving books and encouraging reading in those who don’t regularly do so. But it is also about people, communities and

connections, about reaching out to others and touching lives in the simplest of ways.

World Book Night is a nonprofit organization.
