ELLSWORTH: Woodlawn is pleased to team up with Coastal K9 Consulting, LLC, to offer a Dog Training Series this fall focusing on various subjects. The series will be held Wednesday evenings in September from 6 until 8 pm.
The focus on Wednesday, September 5th, from 6 to 8 pm, will be dog aggression. Participants will learn why it happens, how most owners inadvertently make it stronger, and how best solve this age old problem. Other topics during the month of September include how to walk on a leash, training dogs to come when called, and teaching dogs the sit and stay command.
Woodlawn is a heaven for dogs and their owners and is pleased to partner with Coastal K9 Consulting. They have more than 50 years of working with dogs in every echelon, from family pet to police K9, and all ages from birth throughout all life stages of dogs. As an organization, Coastal K9 Consulting has invested countless thousands of hours aimed at improving lives, performances and relationships.
The cost for each Wednesday session is $80 for Woodlawn members/$90 for non-members. If you are thinking of getting a dog soon, the sessions can be audited without a dog for 50% of the cost. As space is limited, pre-registrations are required by calling Woodlawn at 667-8671. For more information, visit www.woodlawnmuseum.org.
