Wire-Wrapped Sea Glass and Shells
Do you have souvenirs from the beach this summer? Would you like to show them off as beautiful handmade jewelry?
Learn the skill of wire-wrapping using a triangular sling technique in this morning workshop taught by Ency Whitehill at The Beaded Moose, 1460 Outer Hammond St., Bangor.
The class will be held on Saturday, September 15 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
You will learn to make a coil, spring and bail and to test for security of the wrap. You can expect to wrap up to three pieces, which can be used for pendants, earrings or for glass charms.
The class fee of $20 includes tools, craft wire and glass or shells for up to three pieces. No experience is necessary but pre-registration is required.
