“Wipe Out Winter & Welcome Spring”

If you are a beginning gardener, or just sick of seeing snow out your window instead of green, then join us as we “Wipe Out Winter and Welcome Spring” by starting flower and vegetable seedlings.

Lisa Fishman from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will talk about creating a garden plan, how to select what vegetables or flowers to grow, how to decode seed packets, how to mix up a suitable growing medium, and finally we will plant a variety of flowers and vegetables you can take home with you.

This is a FREE program and open to all ages.
