Chamber of commerce to hold breakfast meeting

WINTHROP, Maine — The Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber all of the Commerce will hold its breakfast meeting at 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Winthrop Area Federal Credit Union, Intersection of Route 202 and Highland Avenue.

Chuck Hays, who became CEO of MaineGeneral Health on Jan. 1, will be the featured speaker. Hays will discuss his new role and the new regional hospital, which will consolidate inpatient services now provided in Augusta and Waterville. The new regional hospital is slated to open in late 2013.

The cost to attend the meeting is $5 and is open to the public. Reservations are not required.
