Don’t miss the final weekend of Winterport Open Stage’s 2012 Spring production: The Smell of the Kill by Michele Lowe and directed by Dominick Varney. Mix “Sex and the City” with “Desperate Housewives” add a dash of “Laverne & Shirley” and scoop of “The Golden Girls” and you get this hilarious comedy. The key ingredients to the recipe are three delicious wives, played by local favorites: Brianne Beck, Jenny Hart, and Christie Robinson. While their unseen spouses play golf in the dining room, the women exchange confidences for the first time revealing that all three marriages have been in the oven too long and all three women are facing the challenges of their lives. Are the wives cooked? Will the husbands get their just dessert? With a gun, a butcher knife, and a freezer full of meat come see the night unfold! For mature audiences. Performances are: April 27 & 28 @ 7:30PM and April 29 @ 3:00PM. General admission: $8.00 Senior/Student admission: $5.00. Tickets available at the door.
