WINTERPORT, Maine — Winterport Open Stage is proud to present the winning show selected by audience members to kick-off their 20th season as a community theater group: “The Odd Couple (Female Version)” by Neil Simon. The show was originally produced by Winterport Open Stage in 1997 and directed by Reed Farrar, the group’s founder, but this November, audience members will have a chance to see “The Odd Couple (Female Version)” under new direction with a whole new cast.

Forget Oscar and Felix, meet Olive and Florence! Newly single neat-nick Florence moves in with her sloppy pal Olive with hilariously disastrous results. Come join Olive, Florence and their equally wacky friends in this laugh out loud comedy filled with feisty squabbles, endearing relationships, and a dash of romance.

The show is directed by Brianne Beck and features Colette Sabbagh as Olive and Jenny Hart as Florence. Other performers include Elaine Bard, Christina Belknap, Stephanie Erb, Nathan Roach, Ben Tracy, and Jennie Woodard.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1, 2, 8 and 9; and at 3 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 10.

Tickets are available at the door. General admission: $8. Students and Seniors: $6.
