Nature center offers free presentation about feeding wild birds

HOLDEN, Maine — Jason Harris, sales manager with Kent Nutrition Group, the parent company of Blue Seal Feeds, will give a presentation on the common species of birds that winter feed in Maine at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at Feilds Pond Audubon Center, 216 Feilds Pond Road. He will discuss songbirds’ habits and habitats. Seed mixes and various feeders to accommodate the different mixes will be covered. There will be a short bird ID session.

Admission is free.
