Come see the new 240’ boardwalk through the Hidden Valley Nature Center’s bog with Naturalist Lauren Stockwell. Compare this habitat with some other wetlands on the property. Bogs are an unique wetland type, with organic soil (peat), sphagnum moss and interesting plants, some which are insectivorous. Learn about what is a wetland and their functions and values. Suggested donation $5 members, $10 all others.
